2015
Paul was delighted to be part of the 5th annual NEWvember Festival in Tivoli NY, a co-production of AboutFACE Ireland and Tangent Theatre Tivoli, November 5th – 8th, where he performed in new works by Jacob Perkins, Karen Howes, Steven Haworth and Peter Papadopoulos.
Paul had a ball playing a college professor who gets mixed up in Dublin’s underworld in the World Premiere of Brendan Connellan’s new blackly comic play PYTHON, which ran at An Beal Bocht Cafe in the Bronx, Sept 24 to Oct 4, as part of the 2015 1stIrish Festival. Directed by Don Creedon, the show also starred Mark Byrne, Laurence Lowry, Conor McManus and David O’Hara.
Paul was delighted to return to the lead role of Victor M. McGowan in Seamus Scanlon’s “The McGowan Trilogy” in the UK premiere at the Kino Teatr in St Leonards on Sea in England in July. A co-production with the cell of NYC, the show was directed by Kira Simring and featured original cast member Anna Nugent, alongside UK new cast members Ciaran Flynn, Lisa Harmer, Patrick Knowles & Brendan O’Rourke. 
On June 11th, Paul played Danny in a special reading of Derek Murphy’s new play, the Irish black comedy “Inside Danny’s Box,” at NYU Glucksman Ireland House alongside a stellar cast: Orlagh Cassidy, David Gail, Matt Golden, Kevin Marron and Anna Nugent, directed by Brian Reager and Michael Rhodes.

Paul played Champ, a champion showdog, in the sold-out World Premiere run of Marianne Driscoll’s new play “The Biscuit Club,” directed by Kira Simring at the cell in New York City.
2014
Paul made his US Network TV debut sharing a scene with James Spader in the Season 2 Premiere of “The Blacklist” (NBC), playing the Bellboy who delivers a mysterious package!

Paul was delighted to play the punk IRA assassin Victor M. McGowan in the world premiere of The McGowan Trilogy by Seamus Scanlon, at the Cell Theatre, September 11 to October 5, directed by Kira Simring, as part of the 1stIrish Festival. The production played to sell-out audiences and won three awards at the 1st Irish Festival Awards.

Paul was Julius Caesar in the experimental production “Beware the Ides of Monday,” a Shakespeare mash-up of “Julius Caesar” and “The Comedy of Errors,” at the Cell Theatre, June 4-13, directed by Joe Hendel.
Paul was delighted to be back in Tivoli, New York, to perform in a reading of three short plays by Steve Martin for Tangent Arts, August 10.
Paul was the Narrator in a reading of the new play “Gonne/Yeats” at NYU Glucksman Ireland House on April 5th and played Aarvid, a romantic Minnesotan, in a concert reading of “Don’t Hug Me – We’re Married,” a new musical by Phil Olson at the Soho Playhouse on April 28th.
Paul recently recorded the audiobook of Tom Phelan’s deeply moving and evocative novel The Canal Bridge, about two Irish stretcher-bearers in WWI, as well as two crime short stories for the audio collection Dublin Noir, available on Audible.com.

Paul was thrilled to return to the role of the young Orson Welles in AboutFACE Ireland‘s new production of Orson Welles’ Christmas Carol: A Live Radio Play at the Powerscourt Theatre in Dublin, December 20th-22nd. Watch the trailer!
Paul was delighted to be part of the 3rd annual NEWvember Festival in Tivoli NY, a co-production of AboutFACE Ireland and Tangent Theatre Tivoli, November 7th – 10th, where he performed in new works by Hal Borden, Aaron Weissman, Jessica Bedford, Shannon Reed and Seamus Scanlon.
Paul played the lead role of Jimmy in a reading of Don Creedon’s new play The Lobby, at the Beckett Theatre at Theatre Row, West 42nd Street, Tuesday 19th November.

Paul plays the cunning but lovelorn villain Michael Feeny in Storm Theatre’s acclaimed revival of Dion Boucicault’s classic comedic drama Arrah-na-Pogue, directed by Peter Dobbins.
- Paul creates and co-produces the inaugural NEWvember New Plays Festival at the Carpenter Shop Theatre in Tivoli, NY, a co-production of Tangent Theatre Company and AboutFACE Ireland. Paul also plays the roles of the young lightning-chaser Lyle in Meghan Kennedy’s A Bright Wind over a Bent World, the troubled soldier Jake in Rachel White’s Broken Wing and the struggling Bellhop in Jen Skura’s Pirate, as well as directing Fengar Gael’s The Cat Vandal.

- Paul is very pleased to return to Tangent Arts’ Pub Reading Series, playing the driven young mathematician Hal in David Auburn’s drama Proof, and the possessive brother Valene in Martin McDonagh’s black comedy The Lonesome West, at the Black Swan, Tivoli, and the Dubliner, Poughkeepsie, all in upstate New York.
2010
- Paul is thrilled to narrate his first full audiobook, the novel Songdogsby the acclaimed author Colum McCann for Audible.com, as well as Colum’s short stories Wood and A Basket Full of Wallpaper. He also records the voices of Howard, Geoff and others for the audiobook of Paul Murray’s fantastic new novel, Skippy Dies.
- Paul plays the young bookseller Ben Burns in a reading from Emily Comisar’s new TV pilot Bindings at the Primary Stages ESPA Playwrighting Festival.
- Paul plays the tormented ex-soldier Johnny Boyle in a rehearsed reading of Sean O’Casey’s classic play Juno and the Paycock at the Irish Repertory Theatre.
- Paul performs as the innocent actor Brian O’Conor in a staged reading of Cailin Heffernan’s dynamic new play Rebel Hearts at New Georges.

- Paul plays The Urchin in a public reading of The Cobbler by Bryan Delaney, directed by Derek Campbell, at the Vineyard Theatre as part of the 1st Irish Festival.
- Paul plays Tom in a new production of Blood Guilty, a powerful drama based on real-life events by Antoine O’Flatharta, at the Player’s Loft Theatre, directed by Kevin Collins, as part of the 1st Irish Festival. The cast also includes Vincent Dowling, Christopher Joseph Jones and Aidan Redmond.
- Paul plays Jackson in the world premiere production of The Jungle Fun Room, a hilarious new play by Brian Hampton, directed by Sam Zalutsky, at the Actors’ Playhouse as part of FringeNYC.
- Paul performs in The Yeats Project Readings at the Irish Repertory Theatre, directed by George C. Heslin. Roles included Cuchulain in At the Hawk’s Well and The Green Helmet, The Stroller in The King of the Great Clock Tower, and Polyneices in Oedipus at Colonus.
- Paul shoots the short films Northern Blue: Crossroads, A Game of Pawns and Cas.

- Paul plays Billy in the acclaimed, sold-out production of Ladies & Gents, a new site-specific noir thriller performed at the Bethesda Fountain Toilets in New York’s Central Park, written and directed by Paul Walker, and produced by Semper Fi (Ireland) and the Irish Arts Center.

- Paul performs in concert readings of The House Party: The Songs of Flanders and Swann, a new revue of whimsical and witty songs in the 50’s English music hall tradition, at the York Theatre and at the Snapple Theatre Center.
- Paul plays The Urchin in a public reading of The Cobbler by Bryan Delaney, directed by Derek Campbell, for Urban Stages.
- Paul plays Declan in a public reading of Beyond The Pale, a new play by Barbara Hammond, directed by Kevin Kittle, at the Irish Repertory Theatre.
- Paul performs in public readings of two new plays for Origin Theatre Company’s “Mondays of May Reading Series” – as Bernard in Monged by Gary Duggan, directed by Jim Culleton, and as Randolph in Shoot the Crow by Owen McCafferty.
- Paul plays Young Michael in Mr.McNamara, a radio play by William Trevor, directed by Ciaran O’Reilly, performed live at the 92nd St Y.
